The Abbey of Bon Repos

The tiny village of Perret is a 10 minute walk away, there are two beautiful churches, two bars one of which is a grocery/tabac. The abbey of Bon Repos is only a five minute drive away, this a beautiful spot on the Nantes/Brest canal, perfect for fishing, cycling, horse-riding or just walking. There are bars, restaurants and a creperie all nearby. The 15th century forge- de-la-salle is close by, both the abbey and the forge are open to visitors almost everyday.

A few more minutes drive away is Lac Guerledan with its safe man-made beaches, water-sports, impressive dam, bars and restaurants. The town of Gouarec is approx 6km away, here are banks, shops, supermarket, hairdressers, tourist information office, post office,garages etc. You can also hire bicycles or canoes in Gouarec and enjoy the scenery along the river Blavet. The historic town of Pontivy with its 15^th century chateau is only 20km from us.

The beaches of north, south and west Brittany are all within an hours drive along wonderfully quiet roads.

We are 1 1/2 hrs from Dinard airport and about the same from Brest airport. The ferry ports of Roscoff and St Malo are both around 1 to 1 1/2 hours drive.
